Who is responsible
Synstak is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Synstak operates from the United Kingdom. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@synstak.com.
Information we collect
When you contact us or apply for a free concept, we may receive your name, company, email address, website, message and any advertisement file you choose to upload. Our hosting and security services may also record limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, access time and requested page.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to review your request, reply to you, prepare requested creative work and take steps towards a possible client relationship. We use limited technical information to operate, secure and diagnose the website. These uses rely on steps requested before a possible contract and our legitimate interests in running a secure, responsive business.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies may be used for security and basic website operation. If you allow optional analytics through the cookie banner, Google Analytics may collect usage information to help us understand how the website is used. Optional analytics should not run before consent, and you can change your choice through the cookie controls.
Who may process information
Information may be processed by suppliers needed to operate the website and communications, such as our website host, email or SMTP provider, security tools and—only where optional analytics are accepted—Google Analytics. We do not sell personal information. A supplier may process information outside the UK; where required, the supplier must use an appropriate legal safeguard for the transfer.
How long we keep it
General enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months, unless they lead to client work or need to be retained for a dispute, security issue or legal obligation. Client and financial records may be kept for the period required by UK law. Temporary website copies of uploaded files are removed after the enquiry is sent, while the email copy is retained with the enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Contact hello@synstak.com to make a request.
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
